Contact information you provide when you subscribe to alerts (mobile phone number and/or email address), your service area or address if you provide it, and the details of any problem reports you submit to your water system. Water system staff accounts include a work email address.
How we use information
To deliver water service notifications (such as outage notices, boil water advisories, scheduled maintenance, service restoration, and office notices), to route and respond to the problem reports you submit, and to keep a record of the notifications sent.
Text messaging
When you provide your mobile number to receive text alerts, we use it only to send water service notifications and related messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help at any time.
Sharing of information
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not share your mobile information or phone number with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We share information only with service providers who help us deliver messages (such as our SMS and email delivery providers), only as needed to provide the service, or as required by law.
Data retention
We retain records of notifications and consent to support compliance and recordkeeping.
Your choices
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from email at any time.
